Coordinating With Law Enforcement

We work closely with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, facilitating two-way intelligence sharing, coordinating on threat response protocols, and serving as a bridge between Jewish communities and the public safety agencies dedicated to protecting them.

SCN’s unique position as a liaison between the Jewish community and law enforcement agencies is crucial to our mission. These partnerships allow for rapid and efficient information sharing, ensuring that potential threats are quickly identified and addressed. We also work to educate law enforcement about the specific security concerns of the Jewish community, while helping Jewish institutions understand how to effectively engage with law enforcement.

Rather than asking law enforcement officers to familiarize themselves with a community or facility in a moment of crisis, we believe in developing relationships with local police departments through constant communication so that if and when an incident happens, they can get right to work saving lives.
