Empowering Communities Through Training

Led by safety and security experts, our gold-standard training curriculum empowers participants with hands-on training and life-saving skills to prevent, respond to, and recover from potential incidents.

SCN’s training programs are designed to create a culture of security awareness and preparedness throughout the Jewish community. Our curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from situational awareness and active threat response to nationally recognized courses like Stop The Bleed®. We employ a variety of teaching methods, including interactive training, tabletop exercises, and techniques and tools, to ensure that participants not only gain knowledge and practical skills but retain it for application in real-world situations.

We know that in crisis situations, people tend not to rise to the occasion but to fall back on their level of training. By teaching individuals and institutions with these skills, we are empowering the community to take safety and security into their own hands.

First of all, we escaped. We weren’t released or freed.

We escaped because we had training from the Secure Community Network on what to do in the event of an active shooter.

This training saved our lives – I am not speaking in hyperbole here – it saved our lives.
