Daniel Godsel

Daniel Godsel is a former law enforcement executive with 29 years of experience at the Chicago Police Department (CPD). He served at the command staff level to promote reform under the federal consent decree, oversee training, and command of two diverse districts. He is currently serving the Jewish United Fund of Chicago as Director of Security. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Godsel possesses an extensive background in fine art resulting in a unique, multifaceted perspective on critical social and institutional reform issues.
