Jason Roebuck joined the Secure Community Network (SCN) as the Regional Security Advisor – South Carolina in April 2020. SCN is the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America, formed under the auspices of The Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. In his role, Mr. Roebuck provides security consultations, training, and direct response to critical incidents to Jewish Communities across South Carolina.   

Prior to joining SCN, Mr. Roebuck served in the Long Branch Police Department in New Jersey for 26 years, ending his career as the Chief of Police in 2021.  He was also the tactical commander for the Monmouth County SWAT team, supervising field operations for high-risk incidents and emergency management situations.   

From 2016-2021, Mr. Roebuck was the Vice President of Stronghold Defense Solutions, a security consulting company that provided security/threat assessments, training/drills and emergency operations plans/management to corporate clients, houses of worship, schools and utility companies in New Jersey, New York City and Philadelphia.   

Before joining the Long Branch Police Department, Mr. Roebuck graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice and a minor in National Security Affairs. He also attained the rank of Captain in the Pennsylvania National Guard and Army Reserve.
