  On 07 December, SCN held its third conversation in the 2023/2024 NSGP webinar series, titled Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) Key Changes in partnership with The Jewish Federations of North America and Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, walking participants through key changes to NSGP for FY23, with a specific focus on updated guidelines in order to better prepare applicants for the upcoming NSGP grant season.

  The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) is a competitive grant program appropriated annually through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). It is intended to help nonprofit organizations increase their physical security posture against acts of terrorism or other extremist attacks. Eligible organizations are registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits or otherwise are organizations as described under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and tax-exempt under section 501(a) of the IRC.

  CISA is a first stop for guidance and resources to inform FBO-HOW security-based decisions. Included below are numerous resources, which provide building blocks for effective safety and security programs. The resources include a guide, a self-assessment tool, trainings, exercises, and other materials focused on a wide range of man-made threats (e.g., bombing, active shooter, vehicle ramming, etc.) that could be used against the FBO-HOW community.
